The New Mexico Technology and Innovation Office seeks to continue its investment in the growth and advancement of the state's quantum technologies sector.
In 2025, the State awarded funding for a state quantum hub via the funding opportunity “Physical Infrastructure and Venture Studio for New Mexico Quantum Business and Industry Growth," making a landmark investment in concentrating and catalyzing New Mexico's quantum industry. Now, the State seeks to sustain its critical investment, ensuring New Mexico avoids the pitfalls of innovative projects funded once at the outset and left without support for continued growth and sustainability. The State seeks to ensure the continued operation of physical infrastructure that supports and enables the advancement and commercialization of quantum technologies, as well as the continued operation of programming that supports the attraction and growth of quantum companies and entrepreneurs in New Mexico.
